Where to get other Minchiate decks
You can find minchiate decks in the big commercial platforms, in general they are from established and massive publishers. Here I leave you data of decks made by independent creators, real gems that are more difficult to find. If you know of any that is not here, please do not hesitate to write me to include it.
MINCHIATE DECKS
Amparo
This deck was made by Alejandra Falleti (Instagram: @arcana.xvii), in Rosario, Argentina. It is a reproduction of the Tarot Minchiate, based on a deck created in Florence in the 18th century, digitized, restored and adapted with public domain sources. The first edition is from 2020 and the second from 2021. The cards, the cloth and the box were handcrafted. The heavyweight, full-color offset printed cards are matte laminated, silky textured, and digitally recreated. They are available in two sizes: the larger 81x140 mm and the smaller 58x100 mm (original size). She also has three digitally restored and intervened Mini Tarots in her store: a Mini Tarot Marseille Madenie 1709, and two Mini Soparffino by Carlo Della Rocca 1835, one traditional and one contemporary with pink background.
This deck was made by the British Heather Hall, and it is a hypothetical expansion of the three Rosenwald leaves to a Minchiate deck, where the author has recreated the Rosenwald style incorporating virtues, zodiac signs and the 4 elements. The deck has 98 cards measuring 50x87mm. I recommend visiting her website (https://www.heatherhallcardgallery.com/) and viewing the more than thirty decks of historical playing cards and tarot cards she has recreated. They are sorted by date or by geographic area on his website.
This deck was made by Marco Benedetti (Instagram: @marco.cesare.benedetti), in Rome, Italy. It is a reproduction of the Tarot Minchiate, digitally colored. It was printed in Italy in 2022, in a first numbered edition of 50 copies. The size is 58X106mm. Unfortunately there are no more copies available, but we hope that Marco will bring out a second edition. This is an Early Minchiate Pattern deck, probably based on a Bolognese deck, although its name alludes to Florence, birthplace of the minchiate. The author has recreated other historical decks that are interesting to know.
